Truth And The Steel Expansion is Matthew Walker and Frank Frombach.
Percussive Synths fused with explosive Lapsteel, make a unique and fresh new sound.
I met Frank Frombach in 1989 while in college. We played in a band called Sneed Wheeler that summer but the band quickly split up. We reconnected 20 years later in 2009 and started sharing the material that would soon develop into our 2012 album "God Accept Storm". We worked back and forth over the internet between Texas and Arkansas exchanging ideas, recording our individual parts and sharing mixes. This music contains intricate rhythms and colorful waveforms unheard of on this planet!

Early Side project with Todd Hendricks and Colin Layola.
I started recording with Todd in 1993, our first single was "L:eave a Message" I asked Todd to write some lyrics for an unfinished tune that I had and he wrote the lyrics in one sitting... remarkably Todd's voice and lyrics fit the music perfectly! Todd soon brought in guitarist Colin Layola who contributed with us and wrote on many songs throughout the 90's and on into the new Millennia. Our collaboration would span on and off for the following 20 years or so.

My band from the early 80's. Really some pretty good ideas here, I wish we had recorded more.
Reprise....
What fun we had!!! This was the band I played in Clear Lake City, Texas in 1981-1982. We played a lot of Rush and The Who and some Zepplin and the like. We went into a studio on 6/02/1982 (at Texas Tom's Music store on Hwy 3 and El Dorado Engineered by Doug Groover) and recorded these 6 original songs. The quality has remained remarkably good for being transferred from an old cassette.
Matthew Walker - Guitars/Vocals
Kevin Boyle - Bass Guitar
Jack Kinney - Drums
